Gratitude
You often think of gratitude as a feeling. However, gratitude is not just a feeling, it is a more complex phenomenon. Gratitude is a choice, one of the most positive options for using free will.
In every single moment of your life, you can decide whether you will be grateful or not. No matter where you live, what kind of environment, who you are surrounded by, you can always find something, a feeling, an event for which you can be grateful. A very high and positive manifestation of self-awareness, i.e. observing yourself and your environment, is if you constantly strive to express gratitude for your current experience.
An invaluable positive effect of this is that you automatically enter a positive emotional spiral. If you make it a habit during your waking hours to regularly give thanks for as many things as possible that you notice around you, then unconsciously the process of giving thanks will be a part of your dreams. As a result of this - often for reasons that are inexplicable to you - you will wake up in the morning feeling grateful. This will further encourage you to give thanks again during the day for the things that you feel help you. If you can keep yourself in this spiral, you will be shocked by the universal truth that everything around you supports you, everything supports your happiness, and you can really be grateful for everything.
Don't be surprised if you have moments when you tear up from the intense feeling of gratitude, because right now you almost certainly have limitations that try to prevent you from feeling this perfect, continuous feeling of gratitude. When you break "them", so to speak, weaken them, and reach the point where they are no longer part of you, they are often washed away from your physical body in the form of tears. Don't be ashamed of them, be proud of them and be grateful for them.
You will also notice that gratitude will be contagious, as it will shine on you almost like a glow. Those around you will notice that something has changed in you, and they will envy you and ask what your secret is. Feel free to tell them, even if you think that your explanation will not be satisfactory for them. It is not your task to convince anyone of anything, your example will be a sufficient explanation. For this very reason, don't worry about those who are unable to see the possibilities of gratitude in our everyday lives, because just like you, they also have free will and can decide how they want to live their lives.
What we mentioned earlier is also true now: you should never look at achieving your own happiness as if it were a selfish goal, because by being able to create your own happiness and show it to the people around you, you not only give them an opportunity to follow your path, but you also give others, new people, the opportunity to find you by making your light shine brighter.
Throughout your life, there will always be those who will react negatively to your phenomenon, but don't let this discourage you, rather see them as small tests that the Universe sends you to make sure that you can still keep yourself in a state of gratitude. From this idea comes the lesson that you should not expect that there will be no challenges in your life, but you can expect that you will be able to experience the challenges of your life with greater ease, more cheerfulness and in a more positive way.
The good news is that after the initial difficulty of forming the habit, this kind of state will feel more and more natural. You have to invest less and less extra energy to maintain this positive mood. If at the beginning you feel that you need a specific location or certain objects or special rituals to complete your thanksgiving, then feel free to use them, but don't forget, they are all just crutches that can be abandoned later on as you like. Those tools, as well as us, will provide you with continuous, unconditional support on your journey, so know that if you feel uncertain at any time, you can turn to us.
Let this be today's lesson.
