The ocean and the ocean liner
The ocean is an environment where everything is always changing, and no one knows about it. Think about why it is that people tend to be surprised when everything around them, on land, also changes.
Ocean liners, ships and their crews find it quite normal that they are constantly going places they have never been before. This should not be surprising, it is the order of life for them.
But then why is it that if someone constantly travels to different countries, doesn't settle anywhere, just travels the roads, it is considered a miracle bug?
By this, I do not mean to say that wandering the roads, the constant search for variety, is a path that everyone should follow, rather I just want to highlight how much it is all a matter of perspective and point of view.
Just think about what it would be like if you could experience every single event in your life from not one but several perspectives. Assuming that every perspective is slightly different, multiplying perspectives would create a much more interesting, much more varied picture of anyone's life.
Those people who are bored with their environment that lacks stimulation, do not realize that they could create the various new perspectives at any time, which they could use to create an amazingly exciting life experience for themselves by exploring their perceived little world with new stimuli from those perspectives.
So the saying that there is no boring situation, only a bored mind is true.
